STATEMENT OF FAITH

We Believe:

• that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is inspired of God and is of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
• in the Holy Spirit as the vital element in the revelation and operation of Christian faith.
• in one God eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and that Jesus is truly God and truly human and is the only sufficient Mediator between God and people.
• that people are created in the image of God and that they sinned and thereby incurred spiritual death.
• in the vicarious death of Jesus Christ for our sins, in the resurrection of Christ’s body, in His ascension into Heaven, and His personal and future return to the earth; and that salvation is received only through personal faith in Christ.
• that a New Testament Church is a body of baptized disciples, associated for worship, service, the spread of the Gospel and the establishing of the Kingdom of God in all the world.
